About Me

My interest in design started early in life. Looking at any space I always wondered how I could improve it, beautify it, make it more appealing to the eye.

I recall spending hours in stalls of ancient Middle Eastern bazaars searching for pieces of glass, wood, and fabric that could then be combined to create table lamps or other pieces of furniture.

I use my art to transform mundane pieces of furniture into seeming antiques or give them a modern look. With the use of blended colors and textures I breathe new life onto plain colored walls. I use various mixtures of furniture, art, and accessories to design and recreate a place.

With an eye for the unique and a desire to beautify and transform spaces I decided to establish “Ila staging and design” to work with those keen on staging and decorating their homes be it for the purpose of selling, renting, or simply to reinvigorate and reinvent a certain space.
